These FACTest provide a powerful tool for the detection of adverse reactions to foods, additives, antibiotics, analgesics and inhalants, such as grasses and pollen. It measures IgE (true allergy) and non-IgE mediated reactions (learned reactions). Tested is the release of inflammatory leukotrienes from the white blood cells responsible for immune responses ( that of monocytes, macrophages and basophils) which can lead to symptoms commonly associated with allergic reactions and intolerances.
FACTest all require blood or serum, so a blood test is required either at the Genova labs in New Malden, Surrey, Independent Nursing Servies or London Clinic in London or from your local GP or private hospital.
Take this test if you are experiencing moderate to severe food reactions.
